President's Note

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As we step into 2026, there is a palpable sense of energy and "new beginnings" across the entire VT Seva family. While December was a time for reflection and gratitude, January has been defined by one thing: The Spirit of Champions.

Our students at Nethra Vidyalaya have kicked off the year with extraordinary achievements:

  • 🥇 Gold Medal at the Senior National Goalball Championship
  • 🥈 National Silver in the Men’s division
  • ⭐ Player of the Series honors for Mika, with an outstanding century performance

These victories reflect more than medals, they showcase resilience, teamwork, and the power of opportunity. Visit our Facebook page to witness these inspiring moments through photos and videos.

Youth empowerment is at the heart of everything we do. Through “The Next Step,” our free virtual career navigation program led by Amazon recruiting expert Bhavishya Lingam, we’re equipping young minds with the confidence and skills to excel from resumes and LinkedIn to interviews.

Serve Locally, Impact Globally: Our mission starts in your own backyard! I encourage every volunteer to join the service activities happening in your city. Whether it’s a local food drive or a community cleanup, your presence creates an immediate local impact.

With heart and service,

Kiran.

High School Club Spotlight

VT Seva High School clubs are a shining example of youth leadership in action. Through a wide range of activities in their schools and neighborhoods, students are making a meaningful difference in their communities. From service projects and awareness campaigns to creative initiatives that bring people together, these young changemakers demonstrate compassion, teamwork, and dedication. Beyond community impact, the clubs also serve as a platform for developing strong leadership skills, empowering board members to organize, inspire, and lead with purpose. Together, they embody the spirit of service as they prepare to become the leaders of tomorrow.

This month, we shine a spotlight on VT Seva’s High School club at South Forsyth High School in Atlanta. From leading impactful service projects in their school to extending their efforts into the neighborhood, these students are building a culture of compassion and action. South Forsyth High School VTS Club truly reflects the spirit of service and leadership that VT Seva stands for.
