CloudMinds Inc. , a Beijing, China based company that operates a cloud robot system and provides artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, has developed a smart vending machine that uses AI and Internet of Things (IoT) sensors which it plans to introduce to the U.S.

The cloud vending machine is one of several robot services the company has designed to provide to customers, according to the company’s prospectus filed with the SEC.

As one of the “third party robot bodies” connected to CloudMinds’ “cloud brain” through robot controllers, the cloud vending machine
automates the retail purchase and check-out process.

U-Select-It, Inc. has introduced three new refrigerated combo merchandisers: Evoke Combo 3 ST / VT, Evoke Combo 5 ST / VT and Evoke Combo 5 Elevator.

The Evoke Combo ST / VT 3 offers up to 36 selections in a small footprint, while the high-performance Evoke Combo ST / VT 5, with up to 65 selections, is ideal for operators providing full food service at high traffic locations.

The Evoke Combo 5 Elevator offers up to 60 selections and features a soft elevator delivery to vend fragile items from all trays and ensures optimal product rotation through First-In First-Out (FIFO) loading.

Cott Corporation , a provider of home and office bottled water delivery services in North America and Europe and a custom coffee roaster for the U.S. foodservice industry, has launched PureFlo, an Internet of Things enabled water filtration unit that continuously monitors water quality and filter life, proactively detects issues and service needs, and provides detailed, real-time analytics on water usage and water quality to anyone drinking from the unit.

“We are excited to announce the launch of PureFlo, our most advanced filtration solution designed to give consumers peace of mind in the quality of the water they drink," said Dave Muscato, president of Cott-owned DS Services, which is introducing the solution. "PureFlo is a critical part of our strategy to provide a range of hydration solutions wherever our customers live, work and play."

Betson Enterprises has announced a new feature to enhance the customer experience with the launch of  customer service case inquiries  on Betson.com. Customers can fill out an online form for concerns or questions related to orders, repairs, advance replacements or general inquiries.

The process is as simple as going to  Betson.com , clicking on Customer Service in the footer, and then filling out the Customer Service Case Inquiry form.
