COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS EVENTS

Paramount Realty & Management and Bear Ridge Golf Course will be hosting a Meet & Greet neighborhood reception with Santa Claus at The Grille at Bear Ridge on Monday, December 11th. The event will allow Twin Rivers neighbors and family to mix and mingle and take professional photos with Santa. The reception will occur from 4:00 to 6:00, and holiday refreshments will be available.

Join the VTR Activities Committee for their annual Christmas Celebration at 1117 Castle Bluff, hosted in front of the beautiful home of Lynda Minor. This year's special guest is none other than THE GRINCH! Enjoy refreshments, sing Christmas carols, and take holiday pictures while soaking up the festive atmosphere. Holiday Cheer Fire Engine

Get ready for some holiday cheer! The Waco Fire Department's Holiday Cheer Fire Engine is coming to Twin Rivers! On Thursday, December 14, between 5:30 and 8:00, the fire engine will go through the Villages at Twin Rivers first and then move through Meadowlands. The event will end at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Baptist Church parking lot, where the truck will park for photos with the fire engine for both communities.

It's important to note the Fire Engine will not be going through all streets in Twin Rivers this year. However, we were able to get a copy of their planned route and have a link to it and a photo of it below.

Below is a map of the planned route, starting with number 10 and shows how it will move through Twin Rivers. Each number illustrates a 10-minute marker. If the fire engine is not planning to travel in front of your home, you might want to make plans to be somewhere where you know it will pass by as you follow the GPS tracker and know the planned route.

The Grille at Bear Ridge Golf Course has recently undergone significant renovations. While the bar is still being worked on, the restaurant areas, both indoor and outdoor, are looking stunning. They serve breakfast and lunch from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (but open until 5:00), seven days a week. They plan to expand their menu in January to include dinner when the bar opens. Additionally, they provide guest Wi-Fi like local coffee shops, allowing you to catch up on emails and surf the internet.

Mark your calendars for December 11th! From 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, The Grille will be hosting a VTR Christmas reception with Santa, in partnership with Paramount Realty & Management. You'll also get a chance to preview their new restaurant. The Grille is eager to receive support from the neighborhood and is planning to expand their menu in 2024.
