Dear Friends,
The Board of Directors, staff, and I appreciate your kindness and support- especially through this challenging time.
Challenges are a part of the fabric of our organization working with vulnerable children, youth and young adults. One of the challenges we have is family reunification during the foster care process.
This month is
National Family Reunification Month
. It recognizes the people and efforts around the country that help families stay together. Family Reunification can happen because of the VTR Resource Parents who work as a part of a complex team; this job is not always easy. For those who have had the privilege to witness final teaming meetings, tears fall easily experiencing the birth mother thanking the Resource Parent for caring for her children, and thanking them for mentoring her as a mother.
Throughout this last year, our organization has stayed strong. We continue to provide the same care and success in all our service areas for the children, youth, young adults and families we serve.
We have enclosed our 2019 Annual Report
. Please look through it as it is our report card to you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 559-437-1144 or by email andrea.evans@valleyteenranch.org.
The new VTR Website is up
and ready to welcome you with an introduction to our work, ways to give, how you can become involved with VTR and more!
You will find the link below.
Your continued support through the summer months will help us greatly
with much needed activities through the summer. Often the children and youth come together, to be with other families to celebrate who they are, while experiencing something new. The youth too need opportunities for both education and fun.
To all dads, Happy Father’s Day!
Every best,
Andrea Evans, CEO
