Hi Everyone!
A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored, promoted, and attended Tech Jam! We had a ton of events this fall with activities across Vermont, and next year we’re taking it statewide with Vermont Tech Week 2026!
We’re planning to organize, promote, and grow this movement and we want your input. Please take one minute to fill out the Vermont Tech Week Interest Survey.
One of the most consistent things I hear from Vermonters is how often people don’t know what’s happening in their own backyard…whether it’s a tech company nearby, an event they’d love, or a grant they could qualify for. Vermont Tech Week will help change that by increasing visibility for the people, companies, and ideas shaping Vermont’s technology landscape.
For those who missed Tech Jam, PyData, or other recent events, here’s a fun highlight from our booth: we asked visitors, “What’s Vermont’s largest export by dollar value?” Most guessed dairy or maple, but it’s actually technology! We held a “guess the chips” contest, congrats to Jason S., who came closest to the correct number of 84!
We’ve also launched the Vermont Tech & Business Village a free, open online community for all entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses in Vermont. Drop in, introduce yourself, and help us build connections across the state.
If I could describe a theme in our people, our products, services and our technology...it’s that Vermont produces quality. From our maple to our tech, quality is what defines us.
Thank you for following along, and please share this with a friend or coworker who should be part of the community. Keep building and get involved, it takes a village!
