El Diamante High School Varsity Girls Tennis Team
The El Diamante High School Varsity Girls Tennis Team was awarded the CIF Central Section team Academic Award. This award is given to the team with the highest unweighted team grade point average among the section. The team of nine young ladies averaged an overall GPA of 3.91.

Golden West High School Boys Wrestling Team
The Golden West High School (GWHS) Boys Wrestling Team finished the season as the 2019 Division V Champions. This championship is a first for GWHS. Additionally, team member Regan Lee finished in the top 10 in California.

Golden West High School Girls Soccer Team
This year, the Golden West High School (GWHS) Girls Soccer Team earned the title of 2019 Central Section Division III runners-up. GWHS Athletic Director De Long attributes the team's success to superior athletic skill and speed.

Mt. Whitney High School Varsity Boys and Girls Wrestling Teams
The Mt. Whitney High School (MWHS) Varsity Boys Wrestling Team finished 2nd in the CIF Central Section Division V Wrestling Championship, finishing less than 5 points from a Section Championship. The team had two 4th place wins, one 3rd place win, two wrestlers finished as Division V runners-up, and one Division V Champion. The MWHS Girls Wrestling Team had two girls qualify for the State Championships, and one ranked number one in the State for her weight class.

Redwood High School Boys Water Polo Team
The Redwood High School Boys Water Polo Team had a 24-5 record and a perfect 10-0 WYL record, winning the championship for the sixth year in a row. The team earned the number 9 seed in the Central Section CIF Division I playoffs. The team also won the Central Section Team Academics Award, presented to the varsity team with the highest GPA.

Redwood High School Girls Wrestling Team
This season, Redwood High School (RHS) Girls Wrestling Team member Lynice Luna helped the team win the West Yosemite League title for the second year in a row. Luna earned the title of Central Section CIF Individual Champion, and her overall record was 26-7. She placed 1st at the Ranger Shootout, Last Girls Standing tournaments, 3rd at the Central Section CIF Southeast Regional, and 1st at the Central Section CIF Masters Tournament.
