VVREO provides access to resources for regional business creation, attraction, retention and expansion.
On August 4, 2017 VVREO hosted leaders from across the Verde Valley for a public meeting. The purpose of the meeting was to share the initial results from the regional strategic planning process. Judie Scalise, Principal and Founder of ESI Corporation presented key findings from regional interviews, research, and interviews.
As part of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) Analysis opportunities identified included:
  • Diversify the economy and create higher paying jobs;
  • Regional planning;
  • Marketing strategy for the region;
  • Affordable housing;
  • Entrepreneurs and new business development; and
  • Expand educational offerings.
