Founders Day Celebration and Convocation Thursday, September 9, 2021

The Founder's Day ceremony and Alumni Awards presentation will be held on September 9 in the Joan and Macon Brock Theatre of the Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center. The event will also be live-streamed and archived for later viewing on the VWU Digital Broadcasting Network.  This year's Founders Day keynote speaker will be Gary D. Bonnewell '79, pictured right. Bonnewell is a longtime member of the VWU Board of Trustees and the only alumnus thus far to serve as Board Chair. Bonnewell has had many successes as senior vice president and senior portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley, including the firm's highly coveted Family Wealth Director Designation. Read more here.

We hope you and your Marlin friends are making plans to join us at BALLYHOOS on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25! We hope to see you there for good food, drinks, and conversation! Bring non-perishable canned donations in exchange for a drink ticket. Marlin Athletes are participating in the ODAC conference-wide canned good competition. University Alumni and Corporate Partners We'd like to offer our support by promoting alumni and corporate partners to the Marlin family and the greater community. We hope that this will help to provide the sustainability that these businesses need as we all continue to face the new challenges each day brings. Fill out our form to submit your business for promotion. Recommend a Future Marlin Students whom you refer and enroll will receive a $1,000 annual grant applicable to tuition. Their award will be renewable through four years of study, assuming satisfactory academic progress toward their degree. The award will be bestowed in your name, in recognition of your contribution to the enrollment process.
