The VX One has been invited to participate in New York Yacht Club’s 2022 Race Week at Newport Presented by Rolex. This event will serve as the VX One East Coast Championship and be the highlight of the VX One summer schedule with well over twenty boats from the US and Canada expected to participate. “This biennial race week is now in its 12th running, and has become a favorite of sailors due to the spectacular sailing conditions, unparalleled onshore hospitality and the great race management provided by the Club's all-volunteer race committee.” The VX One has seen tremendous growth in Newport in recent years and we are excited to further increase that momentum this summer.

The VX Ones will race Thursday July 14, through Saturday July 16 and be based out of Sail Newport with post racing socials on the lawn at NYYC. We encourage competitors to come for the Newport Regatta hosted by Sail Newport the weekend prior, and stay through Race Week. Registration is now open and we can’t wait to welcome you to Newport for what is sure to be a fantastic event!
