Early Voting Begins In

Voters Can Also Vote In-Person At Their Usual Polling Locations On Election Day, November 2nd
Early voting, established by a new state law, will begin on Saturday, October 23rd in Hunterdon County and runs through October 31st, Hunterdon County Board of Commissioners Deputy Director John E. Lanza announced at the October 19th Board meeting.

Early voting, October 23rd through the 31st, is available to voters Monday through Saturday, from 10 am until 8 pm and on Sundays, from 10 am to 6 pm.

Lanza, liaison to the County Clerk’s Office and Board of Elections, said, “We are pleased that voters will have many opportunities to cast their ballots in 2021, including good old-fashioned voting in-person at your polling place on election day, November 2nd, something we missed in 2020,” Lanza said.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has ordered that beginning on October 24, all New Jersey residents with telephone numbers in the 856 and 908 codes must dial ten digits (or 1+ten-digit—area code plus number) for their local calls. After this date, local calls dialed with only seven digits may not be completed, and a recording will inform customers that their call cannot be completed as dialed.
