As COVID-19 vaccinations continue in our community, the Health Department has launched a series of new technology solutions to help residents further understand vaccine status in the Fairfax Health District.
The new tools include:
Data Dashboard
- Current registration date now being scheduled for vaccines administered by the Health Department.
- Number of people remaining on waitlist and total number registered.
- Weekly vaccine doses received from the Virginia Department of Health and number vaccinated by Fairfax County.
- Total number of doses received from the Virginia Department of Health since distribution began.
- Total number of doses administered (first and second doses) by Fairfax County.
Registration Status Checker
Registered residents may use the new Vaccine Registration Status Checker search tool to find their registration record, what day they registered and to see what date the Health Department is currently scheduling appointments for. To find their record, people will need to enter their first name, last name and the email address used to register for the vaccine.
Weekly Updates to Waitlist
The Health Department will soon begin to send weekly updates to everyone on the waitlist to confirm they are still in the queue and to provide links to the tools above to find additional information.
Eligible to Register? Use the Fairfax County Registration System
Those eligible for a vaccine can register online or by phone with the Fairfax County Health Department. The registration process collects basic information so your eligibility can be confirmed and then you can be added you to the waitlist.
NOTE: The Commonwealth of Virginia will be launching a statewide vaccine pre-registration system – the Fairfax Health District (Fairfax County, the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church, and the towns of Vienna, Herndon and Clifton) will not be participating in the system at this time. Do not use the statewide system to register for a vaccine from the Fairfax County Health Department.
