Dear Neighbors:
The Vaccination site at Wrigley Field opened Monday. The site operated by Advocate Aurora Health and located in the American Airline Conference Center at 1119 W. Waveland Avenue will provide inoculations for up to 2,000 people each day. Read all Covid related updates here.
While the Wrigley site is already fully booked for this week, more appointments will be available Tuesday morning at ZocDoc starting at 9 a.m. I encourage you to go on the site at that time.
Vaccines are still available from your health care provider, these pharmacies and stores, and the county:
You can also check ilvaccine.org, which is a volunteer-run site that identifies vaccine availability.
While appointments are added daily at all locations, they are still filling up fast, so you will need to check locations often. If you need help navigating some of this, please call our office at 773-348-9500, and we will help you.
While happy to see this progress, I continue to be concerned about the number of cases in our community—and especially the rising number among those under 30. Please remain vigilant, wear a mask, practice social distancing, and get vaccinated.
