Pricing Updates

Merck Catalog Pricing Updates

Merck announced updates to their catalog pricing in August. Keep in mind that the new pricing for CPP members will go into effect November 10, 2026. Updated pricing sheets were sent out to Merck/CPP Buying Group members last week. If you missed them, please contact the CPP office at cpp@nationwidechildrens.org.

CPP has tools to help your practice manage through vaccine price increases. These include a budget impact worksheet, payer mix analysis and contact information for reimbursement support services available through the vaccine manufacturers. Visit the Vendor Price Change Tools area of our website for more details.

Respiratory Season Updates

Immunization recommendations for the 2026-2027 respiratory season have been released by each of the expert organizations – American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. CPP is committed to helping practices stay informed about vaccine purchasing options, pricing, coding resources, and payment support.

Review the latest updates below and contact CPP at cpp@nationwidechildrens.org if you need assistance evaluating your options. For quick access to CPT codes and administration guidance for flu, COVID-19, and RSV immunizations, download CPP's 2026 Respiratory Season Immunization Coding Cheat Sheet.

Flu Vaccines

Coding resources from our vaccine manufacturer partners are available on the new CPP Coding & Billing Resources page, including flu guidance from Sanofi, Seqirus, and AstraZeneca. These resources can help your practice prepare for the upcoming respiratory season and stay current with coding and billing guidance.

New for 2026-2027: Moderna's newly approved mFlusiva® has been added to the CPP program. Contact CPP for member pricing information and enrollment details if you are not currently participating in the Moderna contract.

RSV Immunizations

CPP offers multiple RSV prevention options to support your pediatric, adult, and maternal patient populations:

Updated pricing sheets highlighting savings opportunities across various purchasing options were distributed in July. If you need more information as you investigate which options best fit your practice, CPP staff are available to help. Coding and reimbursement resources for each product are available on the CPP Coding & Billing Resources page.

Be sure to bookmark this enhanced resource page as you prepare for the 2026-2027 respiratory season.

COVID-19 Vaccines

COVID-19 vaccine formulations for the 2026-2027 season have recently received FDA approval. Visit the AAP, AAFP, and ACOG websites for the latest recommendations and clinical guidance for pediatric, adult, and pregnant patient populations.

Through CPP, members have access to multiple COVID-19 vaccine purchasing options, including Comirnaty® (Pfizer), Spikevax® (Moderna), Nuvaxovid™ (Sanofi) and mNEXSPIKE® (Moderna).

Sanofi recently announced that Nuvaxovid™ (COVID-19 Vaccine, Adjuvanted) is approved for the 2026-2027 season and is now available for shipment. Members may order through VaccineShop.com, contact your Sanofi Vaccines Representative, or call 1-800-VACCINE (1-800-822-2463).

Contact CPP if you need updated pricing information or assistance determining the most cost-effective COVID-19 vaccine purchasing strategy for your practice.
