CPP Program - Key Updates
Semi-Annual Vaccine Rebates are on the Way!
In October, CPP will be sending rebates to members who purchased mainline vaccines from Sanofi Pasteur and Merck between January 1, 2021 and June 30, 2021. Maximize your rebates in 2022 by making sure your practice is linked to both the Sanofi Pasteur and Merck discounts!

If you want to receive your rebate electronically in the future, CPP is now offering that option! Please submit this ACH authorization form to CPP at [email protected] or fax it to 614-722-2149. If you already submitted this form to CPP, you do not need to complete it again.
Merck Pricing
You may have received a notice that Merck recently announced catalog price increases to many of their vaccines. Please remember that CPP members have 90 days to purchase vaccines at the pre-increase price before the new prices go into effect on November 10, 2021. For updated pricing sheets, please contact the CPP office.

CPP has also collected and created several price increase tools to help you manage through vaccine price increases. These include, but are not limited to, a budget impact worksheet, payer mix analysis and contact information for reimbursement support services available through the vaccine manufacturers. Visit the Vendor Price Change Tools area of our website for more details.
Co-Administration of COVID and other Routine Vaccines
Members might be concerned about co-administering routine vaccinations along with COVID vaccines, especially in anticipation of a busy flu vaccination time this fall. The CDC has stated that COVID-19 vaccines can be administered without regard to timing of other vaccines, including simultaneous administration of COVID-19 vaccine and other vaccines on the same day.

They further recommend administering each injection in a different injection site if multiple vaccines are administered at a single visit. Best practices include:
  • Labeling each syringe with the name and dosage of the vaccine, lot number, etc.
  • Separate injection sites by 1” or more, if possible.
  • Administer the COVID-19 vaccines and vaccines that may be more likely to cause a local reaction in different limbs, if possible.

For more information, please visit the CDC website on COVID-19 Vaccines.
