VAIL NORDIC CENTER TRAILS CLOSING DUE TO UNSAFE CONDITIONS

Pro Shop will remain open daily with 50% and 40% off sales

(Vail, Co) - Effective immediately, the Vail Nordic Center has made the difficult decision to close the Nordic trails for the season. We apologize for the short notice, but trail conditions have become unsafe. We feel this is the best decision for our guests and staff.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us this winter at the Vail Nordic Center. It has been a pleasure welcoming our community and visitors out on the trails. We can't thank our hardworking staff enough for keeping the trails in good shape for as long as possible during an extremely low-snow season.

The Shamrock Shuffle will continue as planned on Sunday, March 15 at the Vail Nordic Center. For questions about the race, email sports@vailrec.com or call 970-479-2280.

While the trails are now closed, the Vail Nordic Center Pro Shop will remain open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until further notice. We are continuing our end-of-season SPRING SALE with even bigger discounts:

  • 50% off all clothing and accessories
  • 40% off all skis, bindings, boots & poles

Stop by to take advantage of great deals and say hello to our staff!

The Grill on the Gore will also remain open with regular hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until further notice.

Thank you again for a great season at the Vail Nordic Center. Despite often challenging conditions, it was wonderful as always to see familiar faces, welcome new visitors and #getnordic whenever we could. We look forward to seeing you again next season!

For questions, please email nordic@vailrec.com or call the Pro Shop at 970-476-8366.
