After eight years, it’s finally time to say goodbye.
Serving as President and CEO of the Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council has been a high honor and quite a journey. Every day we are reminded that what we do matters and the fight continues. As my tenure ends, I hope that under my leadership, the Council has made a difference.
“Though in reviewing the incidents of my administration, I am unconscious of intentional error, I am nevertheless too sensible of my defects not to think it probable that I may have committed many errors. I shall also carry with me the hope that the Council will view them with indulgence, and that after eight years of my life dedicated to its service with an upright zeal, the faults of incompetent abilities will be consigned to oblivion, as I myself will soon be in the next stage of my journey.
I anticipate with pleasing expectation my NEXT role and to realizing the sweet enjoyment of partaking in the growth of a powerhouse MBE in our region, and in supporting the mission of EMSDC under its new leadership, as it is forever the favorite object of my heart, and will continue to drive GROWTH and IMPACT, as I trust under our mutual cares, labors, and intentions.
One Last Time…”
—(loosely borrowed from my favorite, Hamilton)
