Bake No Little Plans!
The St. Andrew 7th graders held a Valentine’s bake sale for OHU that would put the Cake Boss to shame. They raised $1000, which is amazing alone. Next, consider that these students conceived and executed the plan themselves. To witness the success and determination of these students helping Uganda students gives us all hope for the future. Menswear Collection: Ellie Arndt

On my family’s most recent trip to Uganda, we had the idea of gathering menswear and bringing it with us for men and young adults. My dad, Tom, who was going for the first time, came up with the idea of bringing men’s clothes, especially clothes that could be worn for job interviews and work. Thanks to Patrick Koehl, Grant Pollworth, Tim Richards, and the Prassas family and friends, our suitcase of menswear weighed more than 70 pounds .   More
Super School Celebration

St. Andrew School celebrated being super in January, despite the polar vortex. Wearing red under their coats, students showed their support of Uganda. First, they competed in the annual Penny Challenge to see which class raised the most money for One Heart Uganda. Second, they heard about life in Uganda as told by teacher, Kelly Shea.  More
