Celebrate History with Treasure Trove at the Historical Museum!
Join us for the Treasure Trove exhibition, inspired by the Museum's 50th-anniversary celebration of the "Everyday Treasures" exhibit. This unique showcase highlights artifacts donated during the museum's first decade, offering a glimpse into the lives of early Montanans and their communities.
Artistic Interpretations:
Local artists have reimagined these meaningful items, bridging past and present through their creative mediums. Discover how artists like Stella Nall, Amanda Browder, and Chris Alveshere transform everyday objects into powerful expressions of our shared heritage.
Awards and Participation:
Museum members and staff will select winners for awards such as Best of Show and HiSTORY Hero, while the public can vote for the People’s Choice award.
Opening Event:
Sponsored by Frame of Mind, the exhibition opens on Thursday, February 26th, at 5:00 pm at the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula. Enjoy the artwork, meet the artists, and explore the museum's collections in a new light. Black tie encouraged, but casual Montana style is welcome.
