Hello, Vallejo Drive Church Family!

It’s good to be home.  After years of ministry elsewhere, this feels like a true homecoming.

There are many situations in life when things may turn bitter.  It could be an experience we were looking forward to and yet it turned out bitterly disappointing.

It could be a new job that we started with lots of enthusiasm and expectations, but somehow it morphed into a dark nightmare.

It could be a relationship that started most sweetly and harmoniously, yet things spiraled out of control and we ended up bitter enemies.

It could even be the way we see God. We started as best friends--we felt so close--but something happened and now He seems distant, silent and nowhere to be found.  

What do we do when things turn bitter in life?  

I am looking forward to seeing you all at church tomorrow.  Let us worship God together and we might discover what solution God's Word can offer for this problem.

Celebrating Dr. and Mrs. Kyle

Potluck: August 13, 2022
Please join us as we celebrate our Senior Pastor James Kyle with a farewell potluck on August 13, 2022. We will be having his favorite dish: veggie hot dogs!
You are also welcome to bring your favorite dishes and desserts for our potluck. Please sign up below!

Scrapbook for Pastor and Mrs. Kyle
As a farewell gift to our dear Senior Pastor and his wife, a scrapbook binder will be presented to them from the Vallejo Drive Church.
Stationary paper is still available for you at the hospitality desk and at the church office to write a note of appreciation to Pastor and Mrs. Kyle.
You can drop off your letter at the office, at the hospitality desk, or leave it with Pastor Garcia or Pastor Lauren. It will be assembled into a scrapbook binder for them to enjoy.
Feel free to bring any pictures you may have or other tokens of appreciation for Pastor and Mrs. Kyle. Cards and other gifts are also always welcome.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns,
please speak to Pastor Lauren or Pastor Garcia.
Adventurers will reconvene in September for current members.
New members can join in October.
Adventurers is open to any child from pre-K through 4th grade. 

We are excited to announce that we will be starting a Pathfinder club in October as well. It will be open to children from 5th - 8th grade. More info to come!
