Glendale Adventist Academy
This week we give glory to God for Glendale Adventist Academy, which has been offering quality Christian education and developing young people of character for 116 years now. During these years over 5,000 graduates have experienced the Christ-centered and academically rigorous learning environment of GAA, as they prepared for service and leadership roles in their communities. Having graduated from GAA, most of the students have moved on to acquire advanced degrees and then to serve with distinction in various fields, including church ministry, medicine, law, business, education, and many more.
We rejoice and are unreservedly proud of our school and its quality students, faculty and staff and what God has been able to accomplish through them. The students regularly volunteer at local schools, hospitals, churches, shelters, soup kitchens, summer camps, and a multitude of other service opportunities. They also participate in mission trips to Mexico and other countries.
The strength of GAA has always been its dedicated faculty, many of them long-time members of Vallejo Drive Church. They have devoted their lives to the noble task of shaping the lives and characters of our young people. We thank God for such amazing teachers as: Susie Whittaker, Janet Takamune, Amy Marcarian, Pastor Ben Garcia, Lisa Vigil, Sheri and Timothy Hansen, Grace Lorentz, Erwin Gonzales, to name just a few.
One of the areas that GAA has been known for and excels in is music. The music department has been skillfully led for 10 years by Sheri and Timothy Hansen. Today, we welcome the GAA music department to our church. We worship God together through their music and praise Him for the beautiful testimony to the grace and love of God that GAA has given over the years.

- The Fellowship Hall class meets from 9:45 am to 10:30 am (coordinators are Irvin Henry Jr, and Fred Cline)
- The Spanish class meets at 9:45 am in the Agape Room (coordinators are Isabel and Eduardo Alanes)
