Called To Be Loved

Did you know that the first thing God asks of you is that you receive a gift? Before He asks you to obey or serve Him, before He asks you to tell others about Him or do good deeds in His name, He says, “Come to Me and I will give….” Learning to live in the love, acceptance, and forgiveness of Jesus is the number one work of every believer.

This week we explore four ways Christ invites us to accept and live in His amazing love. Please join us online or in person at 11:00 Sabbath morning as we consider how high, how deep, how wide is the grace that God offers to each of us.

The Vallejo Drive Church is in need of a custodian. The pastors are looking for someone who is a committed Seventh-day Adventist that can work full-time during the week and help us fulfill our mission:

Vallejo Drive Adventist Church exists to experience and to share the loving presence of Christ,
to equip our faith community for life and ministry,
and to engage a world in need.

We invite you to share this work opportunity with family and friends. Although we are looking for Adventist candidates, they do not have to be a member of the Vallejo Drive Church.

We praise God that Leo is at home now after his heart transplant, and he is grateful for all the warm messages of encouragement and prayers from the church. Please continue to pray as he is recuperating at home.

One thing we can also do is lock the door when we leave a room or the Fellowship Hall, turn off all the lights, and turn off the air conditioning. (The controls to the the AC unit may be in the adjacent room.)

Adult Sabbath School

  • The Sanctuary Class meets from 10:00 am to 10:45 am
  • The Fellowship Hall class meets from 9:45 am to 10:30 am (coordinators are Irvin Henry Jr, and Fred Cline)
  • The Spanish class meets at 9:45 am in the Agape Room (coordinators are Isabel and Eduardo Alanes)

  • Escuela Sabática en español es en el Agape Room, a las 9:45 am, con Isabel y Eduardo Alanes.
  • Si quieren folletos de escuela sabática, manden un texto a Isabel 626-251-5021.
Please pray for our Sabbath School so that the Holy Spirit inspires us all as a family as we return to coordinated Bible Study on Sabbath mornings. Also, prayerfully consider becoming a teacher for one of these groups.

Adventurers is open to any child from pre-K through 4th grade. 

We are excited to announce that we will be starting a Pathfinder club in October as well. It will be open to children from 5th - 8th grade.
