Election, Thank You, and Congratulations!

Hello SDCEA Homeowners,

You came through and got us across the finish line by achieving a reduced quorum for the election on Tuesday evening. You selected three new Board Members.

First, I'd like to formally say Thank You to Kathleen Kankelberg and John Rajcic for their seven years of service, and to Jacqueline Sedler for her three years. Volunteering for an unpaid role that often goes unrecognized shows their dedication to our community. Many thanks!

Congratulations to Jodie Taylor, John Massery, and Roger Rajcic as our newest Board Members! I look forward to working with you and the two existing Board members, Jeff Wells and Vanessa Jerrell, as we work together to make SDCEA the best it can be.

We will then take time to review and update our goals, priorities, and funding plan to best support the overall success and what is in the best interest of the entire operation.

This is an important time for our community, and I’m confident we will find the best path forward—together. The history of the association is important. Looking back 53 years helps us understand how we arrived at this point in 2025. More importantly, it is critical that we look to the future: Where do we want our community to be in 5, 10, or even 25 years? Today, we have a valuable opportunity to work collaboratively towards that future.

Together, WE can make San Diego Country Estates the Best that it can Be.

Thank you, Carl Weise, GM
