Hello Homeowners,
I am the Assistant General Manager for SDCEA and had the pleasure of preparing this week’s update while Carl was away.
What a fantastic celebration we had this Fourth of July in the San Diego Country Estates! The annual parade down Pappas Road was a true display of community spirit, and Ramona Oaks Park came alive with the sights and sounds of summer fun.
We were thrilled to see such a great turnout. Residents lined the street in red, white, and blue, cheering on the floats, decorated golf carts, classic cars, and groups walking in patriotic gear. It was especially heartwarming to welcome back so many returning participants and just as exciting to see several new faces join the fun this year.
A special thank you to the Board Members Jeff Wells, Vanessa Jerrell, and John Massery for joining the festivities and supporting the parade. Their presence helped make the event feel all the more connected and celebratory.
The community fair at Ramona Oaks Park following the parade was a hit with residents of all ages. With jump houses, water slides, carnival games, and lively music, there was truly something for everyone. And let’s not forget the delicious cookout. Our amazing Food & Beverage Team was on hand grilling up hotdogs and hamburgers, keeping everyone well-fed and in the holiday spirit. Their hard work and hospitality added so much to the festive atmosphere.
This event is always a highlight of the year, and it once again demonstrated why the San Diego Country Estates is such a special place to call home. A big thank you to all the volunteers, vendors, staff, and residents who made the day such a memorable success.
We’re proud of this community and look forward to many more celebrations together.
Thank you for doing your part in making SDCEA the best it can be.
Thank you, Joshua Jones, Assistant General Manager
