Hello Homeowners,
What a great week! We had a wonderful group of homeowners and veterans in attendance for our Memorial Day Flag Ceremony. We will continue this new tradition for Veterans Day as well. Thank you to all who came to give tribute to our fallen service members and first responders.
The Board met this week to discuss many necessary items and projects in a long, productive meeting. The following items were approved:
- Renovations to Dressage Courts #2 and #3 at the IEC
- Major Barn Renovation at Barn C at the IEC
- Purchase of two replacement pieces of aging golf course maintenance equipment: a fairway sprayer and a greens roller
- Equestrian Rule Changes
- Repairs and Replacement of Clubhouse Roof
- Management will explore the purchase of a food trailer to support remote food and beverage preparation and sales for events across all departments, including banquets, golf groups and tournaments, equestrian activities, Fourth of July festivities, and Concerts in the Park.
Our team has been focused on our ongoing safety programs, insurance renewals, an independent reserve study, and multiple special events, as well as enhanced revenue generation ideas.
I am very proud of our team. They are truly working to create the best possible outcomes in all areas of our operation. WE, as a team — homeowners, committee members, management, and our dedicated Board — will keep the positive momentum going. We need your support, as we all strive to improve all aspects of what makes SDCEA the best place we’re all proud to call home.
One final teaser: On Wednesday, June 18, we will be hosting a San Vicente Resort Open House, featuring our newly remodeled lodge rooms and hospitality suite, as well as the many experiences that make the Estates so special.
