Hello Homeowners,

Last week, our community came together for a meaningful Veterans Day Flag Ceremony. It was a powerful experience that reminded us of the deep respect we hold for our veterans and active military personnel. My sincere thanks to all who participated and to everyone who attended. Your presence reflects the pride, appreciation, and unity that define our community.

A reminder that the SDCEA Board Meeting will take place this Tuesday in the Rotunda at 7 pm, which is earlier than usual due to the holiday week.

As we continue into a period of heavier rain, please use extra caution on the roads and around your homes.

Looking ahead through November, I also want to recognize a favorite holiday of mine, Thanksgiving. This season always reminds me of the importance of gratitude, humility, and appreciating the simple joys that life has to offer.

Next week’s Valley News GM article will be handled by our Assistant General Manager, Josh Jones. I mention this because I won’t have the opportunity to wish you a Very Happy Thanksgiving, so I am doing that in advance. I hope you are able to relax over the long weekend and enjoy time with your family.

Thanks again for helping us make San Diego Country Estates the best it can be!

Carl Weise, GM

Honoring Our Veterans

The San Vicente Resort Veterans Day Flag Ceremony was attended by almost 50 people. We began with a heartfelt tribute to our veterans, featuring local veterans in the flag ceremony, a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, Boy Scouts from Troop 679 leading the Pledge of Allegiance, a moving prayer, and the valued presence of first responders from the San Diego County Fire Protection District, Station 81 (Ramona).

Thank you to everyone who participated in and attended this morning’s flag ceremony.
