Hello Homeowners,

You know it’s Fall when the weather can’t decide to be cool and blustery or 87° and sunny. Regardless, it is time for all sorts of fall festivities, football, and Halloween. Obviously, it is budget season for the Association, and we just held the presentation of the draft budget to the Board last night. I will write more about that next week. The 2026 Budget will be on the October 28th Board Agenda. For now, thank you to those of you who came out for the presentation and provided comments.

The management team is shifting gears, updating menus, preparing for any end-of-year projects, and getting all areas ready for the wetter and cooler weather ahead. Also, I am working with the team to refine their financial plans to ensure a successful year-end and to hit the ground running in Q1. We all play a role in the operational and financial success of the community. I want to reiterate that we are dedicated to the best solutions and value-based outcomes for all that we do in service to our homeowners.

BEST OF RAMONA Readers Poll. Many thanks to all of our homeowners and guests who took the time to vote for us in this year’s poll. We all look forward to seeing the winners in the numerous categories soon.

A final note. I was recently sent a quote, and I thought I’d share it with you.

Thanks again for helping us make San Diego Country Estates the best it can be!
