Dear Members and Friends,
German Business Matters - the new report released by our partners at RGIT in Washington, DC shows the German economy's impact on the US market by impressive numbers. Almost 700,000 Americans are employed by German subsidiaries in the United States, and over 40% of those are in manufacturing.

Equally as impressive was Germany Week, a thrilling festival of German-American friendship that drew 21,000 visitors to Daley Plaza in Chicago. Thank you to all our sponsors and supporters of this unique showcase of the arts, business and culinary treats.

Our SME Forum welcomed executives from various industries across the Midwest. With business opportunities growing, the event provided a productive platform to gain hands-on advice on challenges in marketing, logistics, innovation and recruiting. See some impressions of the event here .

To foster connections at and beyond our events, we released our new event app. Explore what's happening at the German American Business Forum in Potsdam, Germany on Tuesday, June 4, in the brand new app and navigate our upcoming events on your mobile devices.

If you missed out on our big spring events, please note: Registration is now open for this year's German American Business Awards and Intelligent Enterprises Forum on Friday, October 11.
