Airlines Requiring Face Coverings
Many airlines are now requiring face coverings (masks) to be worn when checking baggage/checking-in, boarding, and on-board flights. Travelers are encouraged to bring their own masks. Very young passengers and those with conditions that prevent them from wearing a face covering will be exempt from the requirement.
 
American Airlines is requiring face coverings for all passengers starting May 11.
 
Delta is requiring face coverings for all passengers starting May 4.
 
United is requiring face coverings for all passengers starting May 4.
 
JetBlue is requiring face coverings for all passengers starting May 4.
 
Southwest is requiring face coverings for all passengers starting May 11.  
Flying During Coronavirus: How Airlines Are Changing Their In-Flight Rules
Airlines all have new onboard regulations. In addition to increased sanitizing procedures, airlines are changing their boarding protocols, allotting more space for fliers onboard planes, changing in-flight services and have begun mandating passengers and flight crew wear personal protective gear, like face masks.
