Dear Viking Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

For 49 years, Vanguard School has excelled in preparing students to be successful and productive young adults. I am pleased to accept your child to the Viking family and to open enrollment contracts for the 2023-2024 school year to those students that qualify.

Thank you for working with the enrollment process through the FACTS Family Online system. Enrollment is a two-step process.

Step 1 - FACTS Family Online Account Activation
Step 2 - Complete the Online Enrollment Packet.

FACTS Tuition Assistance application– FACTS Application must be submitted at the time of the application.
Please note that the process of awarding tuition assistance is a two-step The Tuition Assistance Application must be completed at the time of the application submission to be considered. Application/Assistance will be reviewed only after both are completed. Students will be accepted on a rolling basis once all assets are complete. Tuition assistance files are reviewed monthly.
Tuition Assistance Applications are separate via FACTS and are reviewed once verified. All applicants are notified directly via email from FACTS. This is a separate step and will be an addendum to your enrollment contract.

2023-2024 Enrollment Process

Welcome to Vanguard College Preparatory School!

We are delighted to have your family join the Viking community!

The Enrollment Process Includes:

the enrollment contract.

Incoming Student Information:

Acceptances mailed to families on or before 2/1/23 have a New Student Fee:

waived if the FACTS enrollment packet is submitted by the end of the day on 2/8/23.
charge of $300.00, and the student enrollment is in a Wait Pool if the FACTS enrollment packet is submitted after 2/8/23.
All acceptances emailed after 2/8/23, will have 2 weeks to enroll from the emailed date before the $300 fee takes affect.

Note! Current Vanguard parents/guardians with an incoming Viking will use their existing FACTS Family Online account.

New Vanguard parents/guardians will need to activate a FACTS Family Online (see below) account first and then proceed to their new account for the actual Enrollment process.

Once logged into your account, find the Enrollment link under the Family Section to complete the enrollment process.

Tuition Assistance Information is sent separately from the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment portal.

Step 1 - New Families

FACTS Family Online Activation

To create your easy-to-use FACTS Family Online account:

Click HERE.
Click Create New Family Portal Account.
Enter the Vanguard District Code: VG-TX
Enter parent email address that receives Vanguard admissions information.

Click on Create New Family Portal Account.
Next, FACTS will email you a temporary account activation link (can take up to 20 minutes and will stay active for six hours).
Each parent/guardian is allowed to have a separate FACTS Family Online account.
Click the activation link sent to you and create your account.

Type a User Name and Password.
Confirm the Password and click Save.
A message displays at the top of the browser, "User Name/Password successfully updated."

Access your FACTS account (HERE)
Go to the Enrollment packet by selecting Family and then clicking on Enrollment/Reenrollment.

Click on Start Enrollment Packet to begin the process.

Step 2 - Complete

FACTS Family Online Enrollment Packet

The enrollment packet is found in your FACTS Family Online parent account under the 'Family' and 'Apply/Enroll' sections.

The packet is not available through the Vanguard Vikings app.
However, you can log into the FACTS Family Online portal through a web browser on a mobile device.

The online process should take 20-30 minutes and requires digital parent and student signatures.

A separate packet will need to be submitted for each individual student within a family attending Vanguard

Your information will be saved if needing to leave and come back to complete forms at a later time..

Enroll quickly to save money and ensure you have a spot for the 2023-2024 school year.

If you need more time, based on available spots, after 2/8/23, your child will be placed in the Wait Pool.

Tuition Assistance email comes from FACTS Family Online. If you enroll and your tuition assistance is not accepted, your student(s) will be unenrolled.

Other FACTS Management Fees for payment plan considerations will apply.

7th – 12th Grade Tuition: $16,550.00
International Program Tuition: Addendum Provided Based on Program Criteria.
Tuition Insurance: $400.00
Activity: $675.00 (Gr. 7-12)
New Student: $300.00
Resource/Higher Elective: Variable
Books: Provided By Family.

FACTS Fees:

$25: Mandatory payment plan fee for all families.
$30: For families paying on a monthly basis.
$30: Returned Payments
