Healthy Futures Participants Having Fun

Our Healthy Future participants have been enjoying their Monday nights with Assistant Program Director Naomi Spivey learning all kinds of interesting things.

"We are always so excited to have our participants return and have fun with our educational programming related to literacy, healthy eating, STEM, and arts and crafts," said Naomi Spivey. "Amber and I are always working to come up with engaging demonstrations with the hopes that something will inspire them to want to ask lots of questions."

Since the start of programming, participants have been busy working on improving their literacy and STEM skills with the help of our partners at Cornell Cooperative Extension and SUNY Polytechnic. There have also been nights where they spent time creating beautiful arts and crafts.

Host 15-LOVE Kids for Tennis Youth Clinic

15-LOVE participants had the opportunity to participate in a Tennis Clinic with Skidmore College on February 26th. The Skidmore College men's team used their off weekend to teach tennis drills and techniques to more than 20 participants.

"We’re so appreciative to the men's team for taking time to teach our kids new tools and tricks to help grow their game," said 15-LOVE Program Director Domingo Montes. "This wonderful partnership has been happening every year and our kids get excited for the experience. A big THANK YOU to everyone who took time to spend with our kids."
