In Case You Missed It...
"In a fitting end to a fantastic year for our community, check out this lovely article in The Wayland Town Crier  (12/31/18) that shares the many blessed moments we've shared over the last 18 months. Thank you to everyone for helping to make Shir Tikva the wonderful, vibrant, and welcoming community that we love. We can't wait to continue moving forward together in 2019." - Rabbi Danny

Chai in the Hub 2019
Saturday, February 9
Temple Shir Tikva is growing fast and receiving a lot of positive attention. Not coincidentally Rabbi Danny joined TST as our Senior Rabbi 18 months ago, when the growth began to accelerate.

Now Combined Jewish Philanthropies has taken notice in a big way. We should all take pride that our own Rabbi Danny is one of 10 of CJP's Chai in the Hub honorees.  The Chai in the Hub honor is bestowed upon 10 deserving under-40 individuals recognized for their leadership and contributions to Jewish life in and around Boston.  The entire congregation salutes Rabbi Danny and joins with CJP in recognizing his special qualities and leadership. There are three ways that you can honor Rabbi Danny personally:

- An event is being held at the Royal Sonesta in Boston on Saturday, February 9, where Rabbi Danny and the nine other honorees will be celebrated. To register, visit  here.

-  Contribute to the TST Annual Fund in recognition of Rabbi Danny's honor. Rabbi Danny has specifically requested that your donation go to the Annual Fund to support a $50,000 challenge match that is in place at this time, so your contribution will be matched dollar for dollar up to the $50,000 threshold. You can donate to the TST Annual Fund  here.

- Donate to CJP in honor of Rabbi Danny's achievement. To donate to CJP visit  here.

This is a wonderful honor and one which brings a positive glow to our entire community. Yasher koach Rabbi Danny!

One History. One Text. Two Paths
Thursdays, January 17, 24, 31, (Monday Feb 4), 28 & March 7
7:30 pm
Join Rabbi Jordi for an exploration of the moment in history from which Judaism as we know it and Christianity each emerged. We will delve into the world of Judaism two millennia ago, focusing on the creation and divergence of Christianity and Rabbinic Judaism. Where did these distinct religions come from? What were their shared roots? How did Jewish life then lead to the Judaism(s) and Christianity(s) as we know them, today? What did the Maccabees have to do with it? How did the Apostle Paul fit into the picture? And, just who were the Essenes anyway?  Register Today
