The Abonett Extruded Bread Family was introduced in 1986, focusing on extruded cereal products and crackerbreads. The product range was continuously developed and expanded in line with market needs (organic/bio, gluten free, high fibre, low calorie, whole grain, kosher, vegan, private label products), together with the continuous modernisation and upgrading of the production lines.

Our latest product development

As 2023 comes to a close, we're delighted to launch our newest products: Abonett Classic Sweet Crackerbreads in cocoa and cinnamon flavors.

With a careful selection of sweeteners and no added sugar and a 16-month-long shelf life, these 100gr crackerbreads are a guilt-free choice that your customers will love, whether they're paired with a morning coffee or as a light afternoon snack alternative.

Abonett private label production

Endorsed by our extensive industrial knowledge, expandable production capacity and expertise in the extruded and crackerbread products, we offer our services to companies interested in launching their private label brand of extruded crackerbread products.

Our support is extended to all parts of a private label project, from creating the product concept, through product development, tasting of samples, upto finalization of the end product. Our private label goods are consumed in countries such as Greece, Italy, Sweeden and France.

We are a family owned company. In 2018 the operative management of the family business was handed to the founder’s sons, Zoltan and Akos.

We attend several international trade shows year by year, like Gulfood Dubai, PLMA Amsterdam, Tutto Food Milan.

Quality

We comply with the IFS quality standards, while we gained organic and gluten free certificates for our production. In addition to that we have also expertise in Kosher production.

We are leading the Hungarian market with 90% market share. We supply our products to all the international retail chains, like Tesco, SPAR, Auchan, Aldi, Lidl and REWE Group. We export to 18 countries worldwide.
