The Vista Chamber of Commerce and Vista Education Foundation present the 14th Annual Heroes of Vista Gala.

This event celebrates the success of our community by recognizing local leaders with awards in education, business, and community categories. The event also serves as a fundraiser to support the mission of the Vista Education Foundation.

Vista Sheriff's Volunteer Program

We’re looking for volunteers aged 50 and older who want to make a positive impact in Vista. As a Sheriff Volunteer, you’ll help fill your spare time with meaningful service while working alongside others in a supportive, Vista-based program. As a volunteer, you’ll receive training in police radio and patrol car operations, neighborhood observation, graffiti reporting, and more. You’ll patrol in pairs, developing friendships with fellow volunteers and creating strong connections within the community—all while providing invaluable service to Vista. Flag Retirement Ceremony

Vista High School's AFJROTC is looking for US Flags that are no longer serviceable so we can retire them in our Flag Retirement Ceremony. Flag retirement is a ceremony in which we decommission US flags that are no longer serviceable. This includes flags that are faded, ripped, or blemished. If you have a US flag that needs to be retired please turn it in the front office of Vista High School at 1 Panther Way. we will be collecting these through February 27
