The Public Defender’s Office is seeking nominations for its Most Remarkable Teens program who have many accomplishments or made worthy contributions to the community. Anyone may nominate a teen through June 30 for consideration in the sixth annual 25 Most Remarkable Teens. See more information here.

A Ticket to San Diego County Fair and Transportation for One Low Cost

It’s time for the San Diego County Fair and Fair Tripper. Receive admission to the Fair and a transit ride for one discounted price with Fair Tripper. Take the COASTER, SPRINTER or BREEZE* to the Fair and save money. The Fair runs from June 7 – July 4 and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays in June. Learn more here.

Vista Gardens Memory Care Summer Carnival - Vendors Wanted

Vista Gardens Memory Care will be hosting a Carnival Fundraiser to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer Association. They are looking for vendors to sponsor and run booths. Last day to sign up is Wednesday, June 14. Reach out to Colleen Oh (Colleen.O@bayshire.com) to get involved.

Paper Shredding and E-Waste Recycling Event

The City of Vista and EDCO are sponsoring a FREE shredding event. Limited to two banker boxes (10”x12”x15”) per household. A certified shredding truck will be present during the event, and all items will be shredded onsite. Unwanted electronics will also be collected, including TVs, computer monitors, printers, fax machines, VCRs, etc. See more information here.
