Last Friday we hosted our Rising Star of the Year Breakfast in which we honor local high school seniors and award them scholarships to use for their college education. The following students were honored last Friday:

One-Time $4,000 Grant Program for Low-Income Families Hurt By COVID-19

The Recovery Action Fund for Tomorrow will provide one-time cash distributions in the amount of $4,000 to families with children under 18 years of age and seniors, prioritizing those at risk of homelessness. This fund addresses the growing need for flexible funds, will connect recipients to resources that help them maximize the receipt of these funds, and will support them in planning for their future. The program will serve San Diego County, prioritizing the 39 Health Equity Zip Codes, and will focus on households earning 200% or less of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Alley Art on the Asphalt - VENDORS WANTED

Vendors wanted! We are looking for creatives, makers, artists, and handmade goods. All works should be made, curated, or collected by the vendor. BOOTHS ARE $60-. Booths are approximately 10'x10' (no electricity provided). The event is family-friendly, and please no drug paraphernalia - if you are unsure please email backfencesociety@gmail.com or Elevated760@gmail.com.

Vista Pop Warner Speed Camp

This camp consists of an affordable athletic speed, core, and balance training to the youth of Vista and North County. This is done through personal training, teamwork, and competition. Learn more here.
