Vista Hiring Fair - Less Than a Month Away!

The Vista Hiring Fair is now less than a month away and there's still space for your organization to participate! If you're looking for local talent here in North County, you will not want to miss this opportunity to personally connect with candidates.

Scare Away Hunger Peanut Butter Drive

During the month of October, the Vista Chamber of Commerce will participate in the Food Bank's Scare Away Hunger Peanut Butter Drive. Our office will be available at the below times for drop off.

If you aren't able to donate jars of peanut butter but would still like to participate, you can donate virtually

The Vista Unified School District in partnership with the City of Vista will host a Town Hall discussion about the immediate threats and long-term consequences of Fentanyl. Learn more here.

SDCCU Lift Up Literacy Book Drive is Collecting Books to Support Local Literacy Efforts

San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU) has partnered with the San Diego County Library (SDCL) to host a book drive aimed at promoting literacy throughout San Diego County. Throughout October, SDCCU’s Lift Up Literacy campaign will collect new and gently used books at all of San Diego County’s convenient SDCCU branch locations. Avenida de Benito Juarez Pocket Park & Luz Duran Park Public Meeting

The City of Vista will build a new "pocket park" on a currently vacant site located at the North West corner of Avenida De Benito Juarez and Avenida De La Plaza. The City is also relocating the existing Sheriff's Substation adjacent to Luz Duran Park and will make improvements to the park. The City needs your input on both projects.
