2024 Piscataquis River Festival VENDOR RULES & APPLICATION info.

(PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE BEFORE PROCEEDING.

 YOU MUST AGREE TO FESTIVAL TERMS TO BE CONSIDERED)

Food Truck/Vendor rules and guidelines are as follows:

  1. All menu items must be pre-approved by promoter to avoid duplication.
  2. Vendors are responsible for bringing all necessary tents, tables, and chairs.  No tents, tables or chairs will be provided.
  3. Booth spaces will be designated and assigned by the promoter.  BOOTH SPACES ARE 12x12. IF YOU DO NOT FIT in a 12x12 space then you must buy as many as are necessary to comfortably fit your display.
  4. Vendors must follow basic sanitary guidelines and health codes as dictated by current law.
  5. The promoter reserves the right to expel any vendor whose booth is, in the promoter’s opinion, not in keeping with the standards established for the Festival.
  6. Vendors are responsible to ensure no hazards exist in their booth and adjacent area.
  7. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted only in designated areas.
  8. Smoking and drug use of any kind is strictly prohibited within the festival grounds.
  9. Music is allowed in booths, but consideration for other booths and area attractions must be maintained.
  10. Set up will begin at 7:00 am and your vehicle must be unloaded and off of festival grounds by 9:00 am. Various events begin at 8:30 am with a road race and continue through a Fireworks display, which begins at dusk. You are required to stay until 4:00 pm, at which time breakdown begins.

 


Rules and Guidelines for Exhibitors (Crafters/Vendors)

  1.  Exhibitors are responsible for bringing all necessary display equipment including tents, tables, and chairs. No tents, tables, or chairs will be provided.
  2.  Booth spaces will be designated and assigned by the promoter. BOOTH SPACES ARE 12x12. IF YOU DO NOT FIT in a 12x12 space then you must buy as many as are necessary to comfortably fit your display.
  3. Tables must be covered to the ground.
  4. The promoter reserves the right to expel any exhibitor whose booth is, in the promoter’s opinion, not in keeping with the standards established for the Festival.
  5. All exhibitors are required to have a valid Maine Sales Tax certificate. Collection and remittance of Maine sales tax is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
  6. Exhibitors are responsible to ensure no hazards exist in their booth and the area immediately adjacent to it.
  7. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited except in designated area. Smoking and drug use of ANY KIND is strictly prohibited.
  8. Music is allowed in booths, but consideration for other booths and area attractions must be maintained.

-NO SALES OF ANY TYPE OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, VAPING, OR TOBACCO PRODUCTS

-NO ALCOHOL SALES

Cancellations:

Cancellations made prior to July 1st, will receive a full refund. No fees will be refunded for cancellations made after July 1st. 

DISCLAIMER:

If anything beyond the Piscataquis River Festival Committee's reasonable control including, but not limited to, Acts of God, damage to the structure or a public disaster forces the cancellation of the event; it is understood exhibitor fees will not be refunded nor is the Piscataquis River Festival Committee liable for any damages. Exhibitor hereby waives and releases all claims they may have against the Piscataquis River Festival Committee and sponsors, subcontractors and assigns relating in any way to the Piscataquis River Festival whether now in existence or coming into existence in the future, on its own behalf or on behalf of any insurer which may subrogate to the rights of the exhibitor, including but not limited to claims. Exhibitor agrees to hold harmless Piscataquis River Festival, sponsors, agents or subcontractors for any and all damages, injury or loss. Exhibitor agrees to be responsible to keep their assigned area free from debris and hazards to the public. Exhibitor agrees to abide by all rules and display guidelines established by the promoter.
