Venetian Causeway Water and Sewer Main Replacement

Project Advisory: Friday, January 6, 2023

What's Happening

The Venetian Causeway Water and Sewer Main Replacement project is underway. The contractor is working to replace the old water and sewer main with new pipes that will be installed underground.

Timeline

Weekend work has been approved for this Saturday, January 7, 2023, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. To comply with the City's noise ordinance, no construction machinery will be operating before 10 a.m. If necessary, the contractor may work outside of these hours, but noise levels will be kept to a minimum.

Weekend work is approved on a case-by-case basis. Please be aware that construction workers may be present on the site before any work begins.

On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, the contractor is scheduled to begin pulling back the pipe through the drilled hole. The operation will begin on Wednesday at 7 a.m. and will last until Thursday morning, January 12, 2023.

Please be aware that this overnight work must be completed uninterrupted and will extend beyond their normal working hours. Allowing the contractor to work this Saturday will help to ensure that the overnight work does not continue over the weekend. This schedule is subject to change based on the progress of the contractor during the work periods listed above.
