What's Happening

The Venetian Causeway Water and Sewer Main Replacement project is underway. The contractor is working to replace the old water and sewer main with new pipes that will be installed underground.

Timeline

The contractor has been approved to work this Saturday, December 17, 2022, between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This approved weekend work will allow drilling operations to continue from Rivo Alto to Belle Isle. 

To comply with the City's noise ordinance, no construction machinery will be operating before 10 a.m. If necessary, the contractor may work outside of these hours, but noise levels will be kept to a minimum.

Weekend work is approved on a case-by-case basis. Please be aware that construction workers may be present on the site before any work begins.

Traffic Updates

• The eastbound right turn lane onto W Di Lido Drive will be closed. Vehicles will be permitted to enter and exit the residential area via E Di Lido Drive.
• The bike lanes and sidewalk between E San Marino and W Rivo Alto will be closed as the contractor begins setting up the pipe.
• The contractor will begin directing eastbound traffic north on Rivo Alto.
• Please exercise caution at all crosswalk intersections.
