Venetian Causeway Water and Sewer Main Upgrades Phase 2: Project Update

Emergency roadwork begins today, October 17 and ends on Sunday, October 20

Project Update

Due to unforeseen field conditions, the contractor is currently performing emergency roadwork on Dade Boulevard between Bay Road and Purdy Avenue. Work is underway and is expected to be completed by Sunday, October 20.

Maintenance of Traffic Update

To complete this operation, the contractor must close westbound Dade Blvd between Bay Road and Purdy Avenue. Vehicle, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic will be routed through the Sunset Harbour neighborhood until the repairs are completed, after which the lanes will reopen.

Timeline

This closure is expected to stay in effect until Sunday, October 20. The hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Residents can anticipate construction-related noise during the indicated times.

Please see the updated traffic maintenance (MOT) plan below for the current road modification.

Thank you for your patience as we complete this critical repair.
