Project Update: Venetian Causeway Water and Sewer Main Upgrades Phase 2

Pullback operation scheduled for tonight, July 31, at 7 p.m.

Pullback Operation: San Marino Island to Di Lido Island

The pullback operation between San Marino Island and Di Lido Island, has been rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances encountered during the initial attempt of the operation. This activity is now scheduled to occur overnight from 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 31 to 11 a.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025.


Please note that this phase of construction will be continuous until the operation is complete.


Residents may notice intermittent noise, primarily from welding equipment and other machinery used during this activity. We are committed to minimizing disturbances and appreciate your patience as we complete this important work.


Project Look Ahead

Following the completion of the pullback operation, upcoming construction phases and anticipated durations are as follows:


Open Cut Belle Isle to Dade Blvd

  • Estimated Schedule: Approximately 40 days


Open Cut San Marco

  • Estimated Schedule: Approximately 40 days


Drill Operation #3: Di Lido to San Marino – 12" Force Main

  • Estimated Schedule: Approximately 35 days


Drill Operation #4: Di Lido to Rivo Alto – 36" Water Main

  • Estimated Schedule: Approximately 145 days
