Venetian Islands Road Restoration Project

What's Happening

Beginning Thursday, September 18, 2025, crews will mobilize to address punch list and corrective tasks throughout San Marino South, Di Lido South, and Rivo Alto South. The initial phase of this work will be focused on West San Marino Drive, specifically between 1 Terrace and 2 Terrace.


To ensure a safe and efficient operation, we kindly request that all vehicles, including commercial vehicles, avoid parking within the designated work zones. Vehicles parked illegally will be subject to towing at the owner's expense.


Timeline

Asphalt paving operations on West San Marino Drive are scheduled for Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. During this time, the contractor will also mobilize on West Di Lido Drive South to rework two small asphalt areas in the travel lane between 2 Di Lido Terrace and 4 Di Lido Terrace. 


Work on Rivo Alto South will begin the following week. The exact start date is to be determined, based on asphalt crew availability.


Please know that this schedule may change due to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.


What to Expect

  • Moderate construction noise and dust during working hours.
  • Presence of construction equipment, flaggers, and crew members.
  • Temporary traffic redirection with signage and flaggers.
  • Parking restrictions clearly posted within work zones.
  • Driveway access may be temporarily impacted during paving operations.
  • Illegally parked vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.
