Julius Caesar's proclamation veni, vidi, vici, better known in English as “I came, I saw, I conquered,” is without a doubt one of the most famous quotations from days of old. How did this become my mantra for the day? It's how I feel at the end of a WestWorld Quilt, Craft and Sewing Festival.

We spend several days before the show breaking down all of our Grace longarms and frames. Packing up all our supplies, our inventory of TrueCut products, our signage, and all our basic office supplies. Enough that we fill a 26' truck with everything we need to fill our booth - a full 50' of space! On Wednesday, we arrived at WestWorld and we began the task of setting up a 30' area in which customers can try our Grace longarms. And we set up another 20' in which we demo all the various TrueCut items, with a section that functions as our office/checkout area.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday are our active show days! We are blessed by the number of our customers that stop by to say "hello", pass along their excitement to be at the show, share their happiness about the system they have bought from us, and more!

Truly, Jarek from the Grace Company and I thrive on the interactions as we introduce new people to the world of longarm quilting! We meet mothers introducing their children to how quilts are actually finished. We explain to spouses, friends and crafters how easy they are to use "just press play and drive it". At the same time, Cora, Karen and Aizlynn shared the task of demonstrating how the TrueCut system works, as well as taking care of the till and order processing.

Saturday night we load up the truck, thankfully with much less than we first brought with us! And then we bring it all back to the shop. Sunday and Monday the shop was closed while we spend time unpacking and prepping the shop for reopening on Tuesday morning!
