The city’s contractors are progressing through Tuesday's garbage/recycling routes emptying the carts first. Additional crews in separate trucks are collecting the extra bags that you placed outside the cart. These crews may not complete the collection of extra bags each day, but expect all extra bags to be collected by the end of the week.
Remember, you can place two bags of extra garbage next to the cart or bring them to one of the four Drop-Off Stations. For more information on city services updates, particularly Solid Waste collections, please visit www.fortworthtexas.gov/closures.

What is Cowtown Great American Cleanup?
The Cowtown Great American Cleanup is the single largest community cleanup and beautification event in Fort Worth. The annual event is currently in its 36th year and is hosted by Keep Fort Worth Beautiful (KFWB). Each year, schools, churches, businesses and individuals pick up litter from parks, streets, creeks and other public areas.
Keep Fort Worth Beautiful works to ensure our city is a clean, green, and beautiful place to live. No one individual can do this alone. It takes all of us. This is why we invite people like you to participate in our activities and support our programs.
Ventana is registered for the Cowtown Great American Cleanup. Zones will be assigned to small groups of no more than 10 people throughout the community. Register today to reserve your free t-shirt and gloves (while supplies last).

Planning an outdoor project? Please make sure that you have Architectural Control Authority (ACA) approval first. A pergola is just one example of an exterior modification that must have ACA approval prior to project start. Landscape changes, extended patios, and even play-sets require approval before they are added to your property. Plan for success! Even though the average consideration time is 2-3 weeks, the governing documents give the ACA 60 days to consider your request. Be as thorough as possible in your request including set back lines, dimensions, schematics, photos, placement, materials and always include a plat. As always, you may find your ACA form above, or on our resident portal https://ventana.connectresident.com.
