This month's issue of the Ventress Voice highlights our upcoming programs for children, tweens, teens, and adults. Keep reading below for more information. As always, visit our Calendar of Events, Facebook page, and Instagram to stay up to date all month long, as all events are subject to change. And finally, check our newly updated COVID-19 Resources page on our website for information on vaccines, testing, and masks.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the family and friends of Catherine "Kay" McCarron, who donated approximately $2,500 in memorial donations in her honor to the library. Catherine, 86, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on December 5, 2021. She is survived by George, her beloved husband of 63 years, her daughter Catherine and husband Edward of Southport, Maine, and her son Robert and wife Maria of West Newbury. The family asked us to share their wishes for other folks to remember the library in their bequest planning.
We will once again host the South of Boston Board Game Meetup on February 26 from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Come ready to learn new games or bring a game of your own to play. Free and open to the public, this meetup is open to high school-aged teens and adults of all ages; no registration required.

Every Monday for the month of February, families are invited to stop by the Children's Room to pick up a new Take & Make craft while supplies last. No registration is required. Keep your eyes on our Calendar of Events and Facebook for updates on programming, as well as ideas and posts of some fun ideas on how to explore and imagine throughout February.
