We are excited to announce our Summer Reading Challenge for all ages: Tails & Tales, running from June 28 through August 19. For kids entering fifth grade and younger, call or visit the Children's room to sign up (or scroll down for more details!). For teens and adults, sign up and participate in one of two ways: online at ventresslibrary.beanstack.com or fill out a paper form and turn it in by August 19. Paper sheets can be picked up in person at the library or printed at bit.ly/vml-srp21. Read books and do activities to complete the challenge. All who complete the challenge will get a free book to keep and an entry in our end of summer reading prize drawing. Email Erica the Young Adult Librarian at eruscio@ocln.org or call the library at 781-834-5535 ext. 2207 with questions. Happy reading!
We are also pleased to introduce our first ever Pop-Up Library, sponsored by the Ventress Memorial Library Trust. We will be out and about this summer bringing the library to you! Find us under a white tent at the Marshfield Famer's Market, Rexhame Beach, Stellwagen Beer Company, and elsewhere! At our fully functioning Pop-Up, you can check out library books, get a library card, and spin the prize wheel. For our complete schedule (subject to change), check our Calendar of Events or email Cyndee Marcoux at cmarcoux@ocln.org with questions.
Check out our Calendar of Events, Facebook page, and Instagram to stay up to date on all of our activities and library happenings all month long for children, teens, and adults. And finally, check out this month's Friends of the VML on-line book auction - click here.
