Programs for Older Kids | grades 3-6
We have three exciting opportunities aimed at older kids in grades 3-6. Click on a program to learn more or register (*registration required)!
May 12 | 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
We'll read a special story or two and create a very simple related craft. Crafting with things like glue, scissors, markers or crayons, and paper is a great way to help develop fine motor skills. Registration required.
May 16 | 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.
This monthly after-school librarian led program is for children to enjoy on their own, while their caregivers remain in the library. We will read a story and make art related to that story. Registration required.
May 18 | fifteen minutes slots from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Come to the library to read to a dog! Rocko will be with us for two hours, and each child will have a separate slot to read to our furry friend. Registration per child required.
May 25 | 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Come build something spectacular with Kapla Blocks! This special event will feature team building and imaginative engineering! Bring the family and be ready to work together. Sponsored by the Marshfield Cultural Council. No registration required.
