Pastors and Leadership Retreat Reflections

Earlier this year our VCN Chaplaincy Endorser, Chaplain Randy Brandt, reminded me of my chaplaincy requirement to attend a yearly retreat. Sadly, I had not prioritized it in the previous years. That is perhaps an overly nice way of saying, I was too busy with good things to take the time for one needed thing. Like all chaplains in the reserve component of the military, I have several plates spinning between my family, the military, my civilian job, and our church. Thankfully, Chaplain Brandt helped me take advantage of this sweet opportunity to attend our VCN Midwest retreat with my wife.
