Vergennes Welcomes New City Manager,
Daniel Hofman

After starting his new position the first of the year, new city manager, Daniel Hofman, is settling in nicely at City Hall. He's met with a long list of people so far and continues to meet more each day. Originally from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., he was recently quoted in the Addi Inde as a man 'fell in love with government' and who wants to 'just put my boots on and work hard'. The Partnership looks forward to working with the new manager as he begins his tenure with the Little City. We also salute former city manager, Matt Chabot, for his dedication to Vergennes over the past year!

Ho Ho Ho Holiday Stroll
Enjoyed by ALL!
Activity took place all around the Little City on Saturday, December 7. Beginning with Breakfast with Santa at VUHS , performance and more at the Bixby Memorial Library to the Opera House and City Park, people young and young at heart enjoyed the spirit of the holidays in the Little City with the Big Heart. A new addition to the day - the Vermont National Guard 40th Army Band concert. A shout out of thanks to Jim Lanpher for making the concert a reality! For more pics of the day, click here .
