Strong House Inn Under New Ownership
New owners, Amy & Michel Djordjevic welcome you!
As owners of the Strong House Inn for 27 years, Mary & Hugh Bargiel recently hung up their aprons, turning the reins over to Amy & Michel Djordjevic. The new innkeepers have a wealth of hospitality and facilities management experience with great hopes of taking the Inn to new heights - and giving it as much love it as the Bargiels did.

We salute Mary and Hugh for providing such lovely accommodations for visitors over the years and their many contributions to the city of Vergennes!

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places , the Strong House Inn is ranked as one of the finest examples of early Greek Revival homes in the area. Guests coming to town? Send them to stay at Strong House - or consider a little stay-cation for yourself! Follow them on social media: @stronghouseinn
Bridge 2 Bridge Flower Campaign = A Beautiful Vergennes!
Thanks to the many business and individuals who contributed to our recent Bridge 2 Bridge Flower Campaign. The city is all a blossom with delightful plantings from the Otter Creek bridge to Kayhart Crossing. Special thanks to Mary Beth Hamilton ( Stone Block Antiques ) for her part in spearheading the downtown campaign to install hangers for the baskets on the Stone Block and Basin Block stretch.
VP News is brought to you by Vergennes Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the Little City reach its full potential. Through the Partnership, the City has earned over a million dollars over the years in tax credits and grants which have greatly improved the health, appearance and vitality of the downtown.
